Fee:  $50 per weekend workshop plus $10 materials fee ($35 for 1 day only plus $5 materials fee)

Come explore printmaking at Featherstone during these two day weekend workshops, suitable for beginner to advanced artists! Our studio is well equipped with wonderful materials. We have rubber and carving tools for making relief prints  and stamps. We have Geli plates for hand printing as well as three different presses for making larger monotypes. If there is interest we can also explore a variety of other printmaking techniques. 
The medium of monotype, the “painterly print,” is perfect for beginner and experienced artists.   Each image is made uniquely and can employ everything from rollers and brushes to sandpaper and lace.  Colorful and textural, they also provide great starting points for mixed media, collage, and further drawing/painting.
