(Fall19) Children: Art Explorers (6-12 yrs)

PLEASE NOTE: If a class is full it will indicate "No Vacancy" and the registration box will be unavailable - otherwise there is space available!

Art Explorers (Ages 6-12* years old) - *NEW* age group and now offered 3 days a week! Students will be welcomed in the Pebble Studio then proceed into smaller groups based on age and art interest.

Wednesdays with Coral Shockey & Charlotte Hall
Thursdays with Charlotte Hall & Helen Hall
Time: 3:00 – 5:30PM

Wednesdays: October 16, 23, 30 // November 6, 13, 20 // December 4, 11
Thursdays: October 17, 24, 31 // November 7, 14, 21 // December 5, 12
Location: Pebble Studio & Children’s Art Studio (pick-up & drop-off will take place at the Pebble Studio (next door to Children's Studio)
Cost: $35 per class

As Featherstone’s Art Explorers, children will be introduced to functional design, aesthetics and creative problem solving using Form, Shape, and Space as their guides. Each artist will have the opportunity to utilize a variety of mediums including Collage, Drawing, Fiber Arts, Mixed Media, Murals, Painting, Paper Making, Printmaking and Sculpture to help find their visual voice and further their creative self-expression. Our skills and ideas will develop as the seasons change. “Anything can happen, and that’s the beauty of art.”
