(Spring) Children: April School Break Art Exploration

This April Break, Featherstone is excited to offer two afternoon art classes for children ages 3-5 and 6-9. We will be focusing on budding nature and springtime, and finding inspiration through Featherstone’s beautiful campus. 

3-5 year olds // Monday April 15, 2019 - Students will be exploring the work of Eric Carle and his collage and mixed media art. Taking reference from Carle and inspiration from Featherstone’s campus, students will create a beautiful piece of art for spring!

6-9 year olds // Wednesday April 17, 2019 - Students will be exploring the work of Frida Kahlo, her interpretations of self portraits and her use of mixed media. Each student will collect material from nature and have use of all the materials from our children’s art studio to create a self portrait inspired by the works of Kahlo and spring!
