(Winter20) Workshop: Printmaking Creativity

Location: Printmaking Studio
Fee: $55 per day, materials included. Bring your own journal! It is recommended to take both days of the workshop or all 4.
What is creativity? Where does it come from and what is it good for? In these workshops, we will incorporate writing, meditation, intuitive drawing, and simple printmaking techniques. This is a process oriented course, viewing "final products" as windows into our thoughts and feelings. Printmaking is perfect for this because it is playful and exploratory, with endless ways to experiment and see what happens.  A print can stand as it is, or become the basis for a drawing, collage, another print or who knows what! Come on either day. Both is best. All four is fantastic. 
Note: This class is great for people who “aren’t artistic.”
