(Fall20) Live at Featherstone Musical Performances - SUPPORTING LOCAL MUSIC PROJECT

Featherstone will be hosting live musical performances this September outside on the Art Barn's deck as part of Supporting Local Music Project in partnership with MVY Radio, the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, the Martha's Vineyard Museum and the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard.
 
Supporting Local Music Project is a collaborative effort between MVY and other non profit organizations to help support Island musicians due to the loss of performance venues as a result of Covid-19 - providing local musicians with an income by playing live gigs and serving the community with a connection to live music they've been missing! Performances by local musicians will take place this September and October outdoors at Featherstone, the Museum and at the Y on various nights - full schedule of events can be fount on MVY's website at: /mvyradio.org/events Enjoy music this fall while supporting musical artists and non profit organizations!
 
50% of proceeds from each performance at Featherstone go directly to the musicians.
 
Our Featherstone lineup is comprised of Monday night performances from 5:30 - 7:00PM by:
Monday, September 14th: Jeremy Berlin Trio 
Monday, September 21st: The Jaywalkers
Monday, September 28th: Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish 
​Monday, October 5th: Mike Benjamin Band - tickets go on sale 9/28 at 4PM

Tickets for each week's performance will go on sale to the public at 4PM a week prior. *Please note: Due to COVID-19 space restrictions, we are strictly limited to 50 attendees. We unfortunately are therefore not able to offer discounted tickets for children. Proceeds from tickets sales are split 50/50 between the musicians and Featherstone Center for the Arts.
 
A bit of important information regarding our Monday night performances below!
 
Following Phase 3, Step 1 state guidelines, we are limited to 50 people attending any event outside. All tickets for these performances will be sold online - attendees must present their pre-purchased tickets on their phones or with printout, evening of. All 'seating' will be on the lawn surrounding the Art Barn deck. Social distancing will be required, with visitors setting up their beach chairs and/or picnic blankets no less than 6 feet away from other attendees. 
 
We will open our gates at 5:00PM for early arrivals — not before.  A person will greet you on the road leading up to the parking lot at Featherstone. Once you show them your printed ticket or email confirmation on your phone, you will be directed to the center’s parking lot where another staff person will help you park. 
 
The music will not start before 5:30PM, please try to arrive in advance.
 
You are welcome to bring blankets for laying down on or low-back beach chairs to sit on, picnic food items and BYOB.  But please note that we are not providing trash containers, all trash, items you bring in, must be transported out by you to your vehicle.  Bug spray might be helpful. Please leave your canine pets at home, no doggies at Featherstone. 
MASKS will be required - please wear when walking from your car to the lawn — and if you leave the lawn to go to the bathrooms located in the Art Barn building. 
 
'Seating' is a first come, first sit basis — if you want sit closer to the deck, you might need to come on the early side.  Recommended group party size is 6 or less. 
 
Weather and Cancellations:  in the event of inclement weather, Featherstone will announce a reschedule date.
