Location: Pottery Studio
Fee: $225 per session (4 classes/10 hours). Attendees bring their own aprons and clean up towels. Masks required for those not vaccinated. Limited to 5 students. Please note, long nails and jewelry get in the way of working with clay!

This is a 4 week course designed to get you started - from throwing on the wheel to glazing. All pots will be fired after last class to be picked up the next week.
Week 1: Basic throwing techniques for cups, bowls, plates, pots.
Week 2: Trimming bottoms and preparing pots for the kiln, throwing techniques revisited.
Week 3: Glazing bisque fired ware and trimming pots.
Week 4: Glazing bisque fired ware and throwing techniques.
It is highly encouraged that you practice what you have learned.
